We especially love the new approach to food we're seeing from event organisers – a rapidly growing trend that is seeing brand experts using food to underline the messages they want to send through an event – and none more so than at a product launch venue. Our chefs get incredibly excited about this sort of thing; they love being challenged to come up with new dishes that are in-keeping with the product or brand that is being launched.
In the past, we’ve created dishes with logos made with jus; we’ve served canapés on hub caps at car launches, we’ve built on-table stands out of products so the food is displayed more innovatively, and we’ve even dispensed with tables and chairs altogether and sat people on hay bales to get the right atmosphere for a certain outdoor product.
