Andy Gibb, Managing Director, Conventions, NEC Group, has called the recent partnership with Lime Venue Portfolio ‘great news for agencies’ following the announcement of the landmark agreement last month.
Expanding on the news, Andy added, “One of the many reasons we wanted to partner with Lime Venue Portfolio is their excellent relationships within the agency community. This can only build on the work from our business development team and means more support for agencies looking to work across our three venues.”
The partnership saw the NEC Birmingham, ICC Birmingham, and the Vox Conference Venue join Lime Venue Portfolio (LVP), the UK’s largest collection of unique and unusual venues, last month, in one of the most significant partner agreements of the year to date.
The move means that event planners now have access to the entire NEC Group’s convention and exhibition portfolio through Lime Venue Portfolio. Andy added, ‘Since working with LVP, we’ve seen how they work with agents, the strength of their relationships, how they fuse joint training with educational support, and how they learn from their customers. It’s a model we believe in and will benefit from as a business.”

Jo Austin Sales Director
"The response from all of our customers has been amazing. These are genuinely exciting venues; they broaden our portfolio, they offer more choice, and it means we can continue to provide answers to the many enquiries we receive. It’s already been a really positive experience for us all."
As with all venues in the portfolio, planners can choose to book via the Lime Venue Portfolio team or directly with the venue, with the same level of service and commission guaranteed either way.
This expansion not only adds serious weight to Lime Venue Portfolio’s venue offer – it also reaffirms its position at the forefront of the UK meetings and events landscape.
