With an award-winning sports arena that holds up to 2,220 guests, as well as the University’s world-class teaching facilities and more, all the tools are there to plan your event to perfection. Crucially, you also benefit from a dedicated venues team who can design spaces based on your specific requirements. They also coordinate IT and equipment support, advise on accommodation, and offer the highest level of catering and hospitality.

Location

Situated in the Northeast of England, Northumbria University has two separate campuses. The largest, City Campus, is in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. Coach Lane Campus is in a leafy suburb of the city, three miles from City Campus. There are strong travel links with Newcastle Central train station and Newcastle Airport both within six miles.

Host large events with ease in the Northumbria University conference rooms, with a 2000m2 sports arena that’s ideal for exhibitions and showcase events. Meanwhile, the grade-II listed Great Hall, built in 1895 provides a grand setting for more intimate conferences and dinners with up to 150 guests.
