Overview

Hintze Hall reopened in summer 2017 renovated with a 25m blue whale skeleton diving through the centre. Its surrounding galleries with hidden gems to explore, adorned with stunning nineteenth-century terracotta features, are available throughout the year to be booked in addition to Hintze Hall or as a venue in their own right.

With its imposing Stegosaurus fossil welcoming visitors, the popular Earth Hall provides a distinctive setting for events. Travel through the giant Earth sculpture to Volcanoes and Earthquakes as well as the stunning Earth's Treasury gallery.

The Darwin Centre, home to the Cocoon and many of the Museum's historic collections, including the zoology spirit collection, is a modern event space with a large, private courtyard.

The purpose-built Flett Events Theatre is ideal for daytime events such as conferences, talks and training days.
