In our most recent venue review bites, Anna Mather from HRG attended ‘to have an experience’ at Weston Park which included a family ticket for 2 adults & 2 children with lunch for 4 in the Granary Grill Restaurant and a show round of the magnificent house.

Venue Review by... HRG

“Weston Park is a versatile venue that would be ideal for senior partners, VIP’s or anyone looking for that WOW factor; there is even butler service in the house. Furthermore there is the added bonus of the land available for fantastic team building prospects.”

We arrived early so I had the opportunity to have a drink with my family in the Deli which was lovely. I was then taken on a show round of the house, whilst my partner and kids enjoyed the grounds and adventure play area.

Weston Park is an extraordinary venue, the ground are neat, clean and family friendly with amazing spaces from the adventure playground, miniature train and endless areas to run around. The house itself is – AMAZING! You can really picture yourself as the Lord and Lady of the Manor. Moreover everyone I met along the way, were all so friendly and welcoming.

But there are a few things that initially caught my eye. The main entrance for the Deli and Granery Restaurant was very impressive and there was added outside space for dining which was very well kept and clean. However it was the gardens that really took my breath away, primarily you think they are not that big until you turn the corner and you are greeted by the amazing landscaped gardens with plenty of space to lose yourself in. Which is the best thing to do.

Rebecca who gave me the show round was brilliant, she knew all the relevant information for the house from the capacities, to even detailing her favourite spaces and rooms in the house.

I would definitely recommend Weston Park to event planners, I think it would suit more residential meetings for senior executives or VIPs that are wanting to provide that something extra for their event.

Overall my venue experience couldn’t have been improved, it was brilliant! A massive thank you to Rebecca and the restaurant manager that looked after us so brilliantly. Not just an event space but a brilliant space too for friends and families to visit.
