Venue Review By... Banks Sadler

"We had a lovely experience and our waiter made sure that we have a really good time at NY-LON. The 'airline lounge' concept was brilliant. Our waiter was a true gem; really friendly and knowledgeable. The barman was also very skillful at making cocktails! There was a great selection of cocktails, really making the most of the bar’s theme. We also really enjoyed the sharing platters.

I would definitely recommend the venue to event planners! Very unique concept and good location- in the O2 and close to Canary Wharf. Private parties, launches, board meetings would all work well. The delicious cocktails are a real highlight.

Many thanks for all and look forward to going back to NY-LON!"

"What immediately caught my eye as I entered the venue was the theme - the airport lounge was stylish and glamorous. The atmosphere was very laid-back and relaxed. The music was nice, chilled and not too loud.

Marcus welcomed us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. He had excellent knowledge of the venue, providing us with a history of the venue, a show round and also examples of the variety of events which have been held at the venue. He was also able to answer all of my questions.

In regards to the food, I think there was a good choice of platters for a light snack which is always nice with cocktails. Marcus did advise that in terms of event planning, there is a lot of flexibility with the menus to fit the client’s requirements.

I would recommend the venue as it is in a good location for many of our clients (especially those based at Canary Wharf).

It would be very ideal for when clients require a less formal event or when they are looking for ‘something different’. Maybe an awards evening or drinks reception.

The secret meeting room would also be very ideal for any VIP clients.

We were really happy with our visit to the venue and would like to return in the future. I will definitely be recommending this venue to clients."
