Please could you tell us about Weston Park and what does it offer for conferences and events?

Weston Park is privately yours for the duration of your event whether for a few hours or few days. With first-class accommodation, fine dining expertise, beautiful surroundings and outdoor pursuit facilities, we offer a wide range of options at excellent value for money.

From the moment you arrive, a dedicated team of Butlers, Housekeepers and Chefs are on hand to deliver your individual requirements in a stately and professional environment.

Home to a remarkable collection of art and antiques, this magnificent 17th century house, set in 1000 acres of beautiful parkland, has welcomed visitors for over 300 years.

With 28 bedrooms, accommodating up to 54 residential guests, we are also able to cater for business events for up to 120 guests in our Victorian Orangery.

What else makes the venue so unique?

The History behind Weston Park and the artifacts within the house itself, we can provide guided tours too if required. We also have a house Butler who looks after you for the duration of your stay.

Weston is only one of a few stately homes that you can actually stay in with 28 individually designed bedrooms.  All have TV’s, robes and fluffy towels, as you would expect but with antique furniture, family heirlooms and views out over a 1,000 acres of Capability Brown’s stunning parkland.

Please give us a fun fact about the venue

Did you know this is one of the sites where V Festival is held each year!

Are there any recent investments at Weston Park?

We have just had two of the bedrooms refurbished, Selina and Mytton, these were both designed by Rita Konig. Weston Park is constantly updating and renovating the house to ensure that the highest standards are maintained and our guests enjoy the standards of comfort that you would expect in a five star country house hotel.

What has been your favourite event held at the venue?

Hard question, as there have been so many different events here and all them are bespoke.  A recent event that springs to mind was a Christmas party for a national IT company who had a Victorian Circus theme.

What events work well at Weston Park and why?

So many different combinations of events work well here, right from small board meetings to team days, family fun days and company away days. It’s all because the spaces here are so flexible, as you hire the whole house it means you can decide nearer the time which room will work well for each element of your day/night.

Have you had any particularly unusual event requests?

We have had everything from ice rinks to fire eaters.

What do delegates and guests LOVE about the venue?

Weston is your home for the duration of the event, nothing is behind ropes or out of bounds. From using the Victorian Library as a breakout room or for an informal briefing to a grand gala dinner in the magnificent Dining Room; guests use the house to rest and relax, escape from the office and get down to work.

Delegates love the history that Weston has and the fact that it still has all the original paintings and artifacts in the house too. They also love that you hire the house for private use for you and your guests, so you’re guaranteed peace and quiet. Perfect for getting full concentration during those meetings.

In your opinion, what is the importance of food within a day delegate rate?

Food plays a big part in the delegates overall experience on the day. Right from the arrival refreshments to that final tea and coffee break. It’s the venues chance to be creative and really demonstrate to the delegates attending that the food really does have the same wow factor that the venue does.
