Christmas is a time to treat yourself and nothing is more indulgent when it comes to beverages than choosing a mocktail or cocktail from the menu that gets your mouth watering. So, as well as opting for a cocktail bar at your next event to offer delegates a variety of flavours, give this cocktail a go at home to try something different for Christmas!

Makes: Serves 2


  • 1/2 oz raspberry liqueur 
  • Brambles
  • Sugar cubes or 1 oz sugar syrup
  • Champagne (or prosecco/cava will work just as well)
  • 2 shots gin
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice


  1. Add 2 shots of gin, 1/2 oz lemon juice, 1oz sugar syrup (or 1 crushed sugar cube) into shaker
  2. Add 6 whole blackberries into the shaker along with plenty of ice
  3. Shake well and then strain into a champagne glass
  4. Top with champagne
  5. Pour in 1/2 oz raspberry liqueur
  6. Garnish with fresh blackberries
