Overview
Wincanton Racecourse is a versatile and unique venue for all types of events all year round, from private parties and weddings to team building days and large outdoor events. Set in 160 acres of land it is an ideal location for a range of outdoor activities, such as clay pigeon shooting and archery to Horse Shows, Dog Shows, Caravan Rallies and Car Shows.
Throughout the year Wincanton provides a tranquil and undisturbed atmosphere to allow delegates to concentrate and maximise their input into your conference. With easy accessibility from the A303, ample free parking and a central location between Bristol, Bournemouth, London, and the South West it is the perfect venue for regional management meetings, recruitment days and product launches.
From October to January the Paddock Pavilion is available for parties, exhibitions and events. It is also available on selected racedays for corporate hospitality. This is a fantastic 45mx16m marquee which is fully lined, heated and has a solid floor with carpet. A dance floor can also be incorporated. The Paddock Pavilion can seat 350 guests and can be divided up into two or three sections to accommodate smaller parties.
Conference facilities range from 12 breakout or seminar rooms for 5-20 people and conference rooms for up to 200 delegates.
To make your day the one that your clients, delegates or staff remember, you could include an afternoon at the races or on the golf course.
