Overview
Built in 1826 on its own ‘island’ in the heart of the capital, One Marylebone has rapidly become a firm favourite for event organisers and private clients looking for an elegant, yet flexible venue. Beautifully refurbished to the original designs of Sir John Soane, the Grade I listed building boasts 3 unique hirable spaces plus landscaped garden, moments from Regents Park. The grandeur of One Marylebone has attracted blue chip brands from a variety of industries with a focus on fashion, beauty and the arts.
The Soane Hall
The Soane Hall is the jewel in the crown of One Marylebone. Over 27 feet high, this room is impressive in size as well as beauty. Although full of character with its mosaics and stained glass windows the space remains flexible allowing clients to either enjoy it in its natural state or alter it to fit any requirements of style and branding.
The Galleries
The East and West galleries are each 1200 sq foot, situated on the first floor of One Marylebone. Both rooms are flooded with natural daylight from floor to ceiling windows these are at the heart of the architect’s passion for light and its effect. The galleries can be hired individually (alongside The South Gallery) or used as an incredible contrasting reception space for a main function in the Soane Hall.
The Basement
Currently in its second phase of refurbishment, the Basement forms the edgiest part of One Marylebone. With the largest floor plate of the building, the space is a labyrinth of white arches and provides a completely unique space.
The Garden
Running alongside the building, the Garden is the perfect addition to any event needing external space and is ideal for summer evening drinks receptions.
