State-of-the-art South Bank venue joins Lime Venue Portfolio


Lime Venue Portfolio is proud to announce that The Unicorn Theatre, the UK’s flagship theatre for young people, has joined the portfolio.

As well as staging over 620 performances a year and a wide range of special events, workshops and other theatre activities, this spectacular, glass-fronted venue, which opened in 2005, comprises of two theatre spaces perfectly suited to holding conferences, seminars and corporate events.


Facilities

The Weston Theatre provides a sumptuous backdrop to any corporate or arts event, with bespoke seating for up to 250 people curving around the amphitheatre stage to create a sense of intimacy and involvement. The Clore Theatre has seating for up to 100 people, using flexible modular decks and comfortably upholstered bench seats.

Louise Amphlett, head of Lime Venue Portfolio said, “I am delighted that that such a vibrant venue has joined our portfolio”, and, highlighting the venues artistic credentials, she continued, “With an excellent team of experienced in-house technical staff, the venue is able to support a wide variety of events, from standard conferences and meetings with minimal technical needs, to presentations or launches which require a sophisticated level of technical expertise and facilities.”

The theatre building was designed by Keith Williams Architects, who worked with a group of Young Consultants from Tower Bridge Primary school between 2003 and 2005 to design the purpose-built theatre building. Other attractive spaces include the foyer, which provides a light and spacious area for hospitality, the John Lyon meeting room and Foyle Studio which are ideal break-out or syndicate rooms.
