The Royal Berkshire Conference centre and the Business magazine have teamed up to launch a new series of events - The Business Breakfast. The key to a successful conference is in the catering, according to a report by the University of Leeds. A survey amongst conference delegates during the last month found that 67% of people rated food as the most important influence at a conference.

Sandown Park won the Gold award for Best CD-ROM/DVD at the MIMA (Meetings Industry Marketing Awards) on Friday 16 October. The awards are organised by Meetpie, the meeting industry’s leading online portal, with the aim of raising the standards of marketing in the meetings and events industry and to recognise the marketers behind these brands.

10/10/09 – FLOORS AT THE ROYAL HORTICULTURAL HALLS RESTORED TO FORMER GRANDEUR
The Royal Horticultural Halls and Conference Centre has recently undergone a major refurbishment of the original wooden parquet floors in its Lindley and Lawrence Halls. Both spaces are constantly in use for a wide variety of events including award ceremonies, banquets, fashion shows and product launches.
