Lime Venue Portfolio expands its sales force
Lime Venue Portfolio is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Regional Business Development Managers to spearhead our growth plans.
Sarah Sowerby will be looking after the south with a focus on London, whilst Joanne Turner will focus on the North.
The new members of staff’s primary remit is to increase the revenue of Lime Venue Portfolio’s diverse range of venues by targeting each opportunity on the marketplace, bidding competitively and ensuring Lime Venue Portfolio provides excellent value and service.
As accomplished sales professional, they will be responsible for selling the UK’s and Ireland biggest collection of unique venues to the corporate and agency market, business development and increasing the profile of the company.

Prior to joining Lime Venue Portfolio Sarah Sowerby worked for The Hurlingham Club and had several years of experience working at Lord’s Cricket Ground within the match day hospitality and meetings and events department.
Sarah says: "I’m really excited to be on board with Lime Venue Portfolio. During the current tough financial climate, I have proven to be successful and have developed strong client relationships which have been vital to retaining business opportunities.”
Joanne Turner
Joanne Turner previously worked at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester for 4 years as Conference & Incentive Sales Manager. Joanne has an impressive 15 years experience working in a variety of hotels and venues gaining an invaluable insight into the inner workings of the industry. This experience will be highly valued by Lime Venue Portfolio.
Joanne Turner commented: “I am really pleased to be joining the biggest collection of unique venues in the UK and Ireland. I’m very much looking forward to being instrumental in helping Lime Venue Portfolio to achieve its business goals through both existing and potential clients. I am excited about working with some amazing venues including the architectural impressive Imperial War Museum North, the Museum of Science and Industry, which has just undergone an extensive refurbishment and the Chill Factore, which is a unique venue.”
