Sandown Park, part of Lime Venue Portfolio, business success continues with new show, Trophex Live announced for 2019

Sandown Park Racecourse has a new trophy to add to the cabinet as it has announced that Trophex live will be returning. As the leading show for the trophy, awards and engraving industry in the UK, Trophex Live will be at Sandown Park from 13- 14 January 2019 and is expected to attract in excess of 1,500 visitors.

The last Trophex show held at Sandown Park was in 1993, and it has gone from strength to strength ever since. Next year’s show will take place in the racecourse’s largest space, the Surrey Hall, based on the ground floor of the Grandstand with easy access for both exhibitors and contractors.

Trophex Live 2019 is expected to attract a wide range of exhibitors from all aspects of the industry, trophies, crystal awards, laser engraving, embroidery, sublimation and many more. The UK’s leading wholesalers such as; Transworld Trophies, Trendsetting Awards and Goodwill Trophies, will attend to display their new product ranges and catalogues for 2019. Other industry leaders such as; Crystal Galleries, Amaya Sales UK and HPC Laser will also exhibit at the event to showcase their latest offerings.

The 2019 event will also see the launch of the new Trophy Retailers Association (TRA), which is currently being developed and will give the retailers a collaborative and powerful voice to work together to influence the industry. Association membership will provide certification that retailers follow the required code of conduct and best industry practices.

Tracey Greenfield, Events and Sales Manager at Trophex, said: “We chose to return to Sandown Park for its fantastic location and accessibility. With the venue only 15 miles from central London and a short distance from the M25 and M3 we’re expecting to see an increase in footfall for the event next year. The team at Sandown Park are incredibly friendly and helpful and we cannot wait to host our event with them.”

Tracy Rusbridge, Regional Business Development Executive, Jockey Club Venues – London said: “We’re thrilled Trophex has decided to return to Sandown Park Racecourse. The exhibition itself is truly unique and is the only major show of its kind in the industry and so we’re honoured to be a part of its continual growth. With the vast space on offer at Sandown Park, the event can expand its offering year-on-year and can continue to welcome more exhibitors and visitors.”
